Did you know that the neurons in your brain compete for brain space?

Knowing this, how do you prefer to use this precious space to improve your life?

Would you rather nurture neurological connectivity that's based on negativity, bitterness and pessimism? (plenty of research on the relationships between pessimism and low levels of life satisfaction, increased physical illness, including heart attacks and unhappiness)

OR:

would you rather multiply neurological connectivity that promotes optimism, creativity, personal growth, positivity, self-acceptance and eudaimonic well-being leading to greater life satisfaction and happiness? (this isn't to say no space for difficult emotions btw - they all have a role in our development!)

The answer is clear, but sometimes we don't know the 'how to'.

If your car is broken, and you don't have the tools to fix it - a visit to a mechanic does that trick; the same applies here.

Coaches and therapists have the knowledge and tools to help you through the journey from being in a default position of emotional pain and unsatisfying life (or even from a pleasant enough life) to a more purposeful and meaningful life.
